Import your Prospects with File Import

How do I use it?

If you want to enter your Clients through the Import Clients process:

Click the icon for the desktop or webmail address book you would like to upload your contacts from. Uncheck any contacts that you don't want to give a Listingbook account to, and click "Import". It really is that easy!

If you want to enter your Clients through the Manual Entry process:

Click the "Continue" button in the Manual Entry section. A grid will appear that has the appropriate fields that you need to provide to get your Clients into your Client Manager. If you have more than ten Prospects, click the "Add Additional Field" link below the grid. Once you have all of your Prospects information entered into the appropriate fields, click the "Add Prospects" button. When the "Add Prospects" button is clicked you will be taken to your Client Manager and the Clients that you entered will be highlighted in yellow in the bottom grid.

If you want to enter your Clients through the File Import process:

You must prepare a .csv (comma separted vaule) file BEFORE you use the File Import Process. The CSV file must have the following four columns: First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Phone Number.

An example file with the appropriate column names can be downloaded here (right-click to download).

Many applications, including Top Producer and Microsoft Office, allow to export data to a .csv file. Please refer to the help section of the source application for instructions on how to export your client list.

Once you have exported your .csv file, click the "Continue" button in the File Import section. Click the "Browse" button to locate your .csv on your hard drive. Click the "Continue" button to upload your client list.

After your .csv file is successfully uploaded, you will be redirected to the Client Manager section of Listingbook to view the results of your import.
