My Listings : Schedule Promotion

What is it?




The Schedule Promotion page provides the functionality associated with scheduling a Featured Listing or Open House Promotion.  This promotion will be active on Listingbook, and display as a Property Promotion for all Listingbook users.  The promoted listing will be displayed prominently throughout Listingbook on Search Results, Property Detail Pages, and other areas that provide additional exposure for your listing.  A single promotion period is 7 days.  Each promotion that you schedule will require either a Featured Listing or Open House Credit. 

How do I use it?




Once you have selected to schedule either a Featured Listing or Open House, then you will have the ability to choose a Date & Duration, Client Notification, and other specific information related to the Property Promotion.  Details for scheduling each promotion type are provided below:

Featured Listing Promotion – Schedule a promotion on Listingbook for a set period of time that will display prominently on Search Results, Property Detail Pages, and other areas that provide additional exposure.

1. Choose a Date with the calendar menu.

2. Select duration for the Promotion(s).  Each promotion is a 7-day time period.  Therefore, if you select duration over 7 days, then additional promotions will be scheduled.  Featured Listing Credit is required for each 7 day promotion.

3. Choose Promotion Reason.  Please select the Reason that best fits your Featured Listing Promotion.

4. Select “Client Notification”.  You have the option to choose an Existing Client, enter a New Client, or not send any information to a client regarding the promotion.

5. Click the “Continue” button to confirm the details for the scheduled promotion.

6. Once satisfied with the details displayed, click the “Confirm” button to schedule the Featured Listing.

NOTE:  You can schedule multiple promotions at a time for the same property.  Each promotion that you schedule will be displayed separately in the Active Promotions Grid.

Open House Promotion – Schedule a promotion to run on Listingbook for a set period of time that will include an Open House date(s).  The promotion will be scheduled for a 7 day period with the final day of the Open House as the promotion end date.

1. Choose a Date & Duration with the calendar and drop down menu.  You can select an additional Open House date, but it must occur one calendar day after the 1stOpen House date.

2. Select “Client Notification”.  You have the option to choose an Existing Client, enter a New Client, or not send any information to a client regarding the promotion.

3. Click the “Continue” button to confirm the details for the Open House promotion.

4. Once satisfied with the details displayed, click the “Confirm” button to schedule the Open House

NOTE:   Open House Promotions will run for 7 day period ending on the last day of the Open House.  If you schedule an Open House less than 7 days in advance, then you will have a shorter promotion period since all Open House Promotions end on last day of the actual Open House.

The Featured Listing and Open House Listing will be displayed prominently throughout Listingbook on Search Results, Property Detail Pages, and other areas that provide additional exposure for your listing.  A single promotion period is 7 days, and will require either a Featured Listing or Open House Credit to complete the schedule process.

Featured Listing – Promotion on Listingbook for a set period of time that will display the listing prominently on Search Results, Property Detail Pages, and other areas that provide additional exposure.

Open House – Promotion to run on Listingbook for a set period of time that will include an Open House date(s).  The promotion will be scheduled on Listing for a 7 day period with the final day of the Open House as the promotion end date.

Promotion Credits – Required to schedule a Listingbook Property Promotion.  The credits must be purchased before scheduling a promotion.  One credit equals a 7 day promotion period.

Reason – Drop down displayed on the Schedule Featured Listing page to describe the purpose for running the Promotion.

Client Notification – Client that you select to share the Promotion Report.

Additional Date – Open Houses can add a 2nddate to the promotion.  This date must occur one calendar day after the date above.

Promotion Period – Each promotion is scheduled for 7 days. 

FAQs




Can I schedule more than one promotion at a time?  Yes, no limit exists for the number of current promotions.  You will be required to have a Promotion Credit available for each 7 day promotion period.

Who is notified when I run a Listingbook Promotion?  During the Schedule promotion process you may select a New or Existing Client to notify about the Promotion.  This client will receive the Promotion Report and any other information related to the Promotion.  You will also have the option of “Do Not Send Any Information”.

Where does my promotion get displayed within Listingbook?  The promoted listing will be displayed prominently throughout Listingbook on Search Results, Property Detail Pages, and other areas that provide additional exposure for your listing. 

What if I do not have enough credits to schedule a promotion?  You will be asked to purchase Promotion Credits in the Products & Services part of the application.  Once you have credits available, you will be able to schedule a promotion.  The number of credits available will be displayed at the top of the Promotions Page.

Can I cancel a Promotion after scheduling?  Yes, you can edit all the details of the Property Promotion up until the “Start Date” has been reached.  This includes cancelling the Promotion.  Simply click the “Cancel Promotion” button during the edit process to stop the promotion without refund.
