What is it?
Calendar is your comprehensive organizational tool for managing all your tasks and appointments. The Calendar provides the ability to add and manage all daily events; plus provides the management capabilities to assign tasks to your Clients. Also included in the Calendar is a clear and concise representation of all your events displayed by specific colors based on the type and person assigned to manage the event. The Calendar has all the ability to display in “Month”, “Week”, and “Day”; plus provides all the daily information required to plan your schedule.
How do I use it?
Each Tab in the Calendar provides a different way to manage and display your events. You can view your calendar by clicking the tabs “Month”, “Week”, “Day” or “Task List”. In each of the tabs, you will be able to add an event by clicking the “Add Event” button. The Event will be added to your Calendar, and color-coded based on the type. All Event types are defined on the menu displayed on the left side of the Calendar on all Views. The “Month”, “Week”, and “Day” tabs will display the Events on the Calendar View. The “Task List” tab will display two sections. The top section will include “My Tasks” which are Events assigned to myself. The bottom section will display “Tasks Assigned to My Clients” which are Events assigned to specific Clients.
All Events can be managed by clicking on the Event displayed on the Calendar. This will allow you to change the type, time, and other details of the Event. You can also delete your Events by clicking “Delete Event” button displayed on the “Edit Event” popup.
Month Tab – Displays the Calendar in a Month view, and allows you to view all Events per Month.
Week Tab – Displays the Calendar in a Week view, and allows you to view all Events per Week.
Day Tab – Displays the Calendar in a Day view, and allows you to view all Events per Day.
Task List – Displays all Tasks in a grid view, and allows you to view all Events based on the assignee. The Task List tab is divided into two sections based on “My tasks” and “Task Assigned to My Clients”.
Add Event – Allows you to create a new Event that will display on the Calendar. Events can be one of two types; “Task” and “Appointment”.
Show – Menu displayed to assist you in organizing the type of Events displayed on the Calendar. The color codes displayed will match the type of Event added to the Calendar.
Task – Event type displayed on the Calendar that is related to a specific action that must be completed by you or the Client that was assigned the Task.
Appointment – Event type displayed on the Calendar that is related to an Appointment that will occur on a specific date and time.
Recurring – Event that has been scheduled to occur more than one time. This Event will be displayed on the Calendar multiple times depending on the type of recurrence. This Event may be set as a “Daily”, “Weekly”, “Monthly”, or “Yearly” Calendar item.
How do I add an item to my Calendar? Adding an Event can be accomplished by clicking the “Add Event” button at the top of any Calendar view. Enter the details and time of the Event; click the “Save Event” button to add to Calendar.
How do I delete an Event? Open the Event from the Calendar by clicking on the name of the Event. The “Edit Event” popup has a “Delete Event” button that will remove this item from the Calendar.
Can I choose what I want to see on my Calendar? Yes, the menu displayed on the Calendar page enables you to remove the check in the checkbox next to Event Types that you do not wish to display on the Calendar. This menu is displayed to assist you in organizing the type of Events displayed on the Calendar. The color codes displayed will match the type of Event added to the Calendar.
Do Tasks that I have assigned to my Clients display on their Calendar? Yes, any task that has been assigned to one of your Clients will display on both your Calendar and the Client’s. The Task will also be displayed on the “Task List” tab on the “Task Assigned to My Clients” grid.
When I delete Tasks assigned to one of my Clients does it get removed from their Calendar? Yes, any task that has been assigned to one of your Clients will be removed if you delete the Event from your Calendar.
Can my Clients edit an Event that I have assigned to them? No, any task that has been assigned to one of your Clients will not provide the Client the ability to edit the Event. The Client will be able to view the Event details, but not have the ability to edit and save.
Do past/expired Events remain displayed on my Calendar? Yes, any Event that was on the Calendar will remain displayed after the Event has expired. The “Task List” tab even provides a “Show” drop down that allows you to display only Tasks from specific months in the current year. The default “Show” display is “All” Tasks.
